The news in and around Haiti is almost universally discouraging as gangs continue to control many areas, and the call for the first elections in over ten years has been indefinitely suspended in light of these realities. So, what does it take to sustain light in a time of such darkness?

Listening to our partners in Haiti, the answer is healthy doses of heroism and sacrifice. It means standing for schoolchildren continuing to be educated and fed. It means standing for people continuing to be served by the only medical clinic remaining open in a wide area. It takes a powerful commitment to the notion of hope, a hope fueled by faith that one of the most resilient peoples on earth will bounce back yet again.

Our partners in Haiti and our steadfast team of community and student volunteers have continued the important work to support 47 villages in Haiti. We invite you to join us, as you have for the past 25 years, in standing firmly for life and working for people everywhere in Haiti. Thank you for being part of our mission and our community, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
